How NHS annual leave is calculated

Full-time staff on 37.5 hours get 27 days annual leave in their first 5 years, rising to 29 days after 5 years and 33 days after 10 years. Bank holidays are added on top. Part-time staff receive a pro-rata share based on contracted hours. If you join part-way through the leave year, entitlement is reduced proportionally.
